Hall Lane, Baguley

The proposal site for this development housed a former police station, which had been vacant for a number of years, and over this period had fallen into disrepair and become an eyesore for the local residents.

The site had previously been granted planning permission for 25 Apartments, with underground car parking; however the scheme was not developed due to the economic climate.

NK Architects were approached to develop a scheme on the proposal site, which would be financially viable and cost effective to build, due to the low sale values for apartments in this part of Manchester. We developed a scheme which consisted of 33 Apartments (27 two bedroom and 6 one bedroom); with a 37 semi-basement car parking spaces and 10 cycle lockers. Our proposal for the development of the site offered greater revenue and a more cost effective build.

Full planning for the development was granted in April 2016.
