The scheme was already design when Nadir Khan took over the project, however the internal alterations and the addition of a Sure Start Centre was designed into the proposal by Nadir Khan.

The scheme was developed and designed by Nadir Khan, who was solely responsible for end-user requirements and planning requirements, from Inception through to works starting on site.  Nadir Khan had left EK Architects, so was not able to run the project on site.

NK Architects were approached to develop and design an Education and Resource Centre that would house classrooms, libraries and IT rooms, with ancillary accommodation, including canteen and toilet facilities; affiliated to the Mosque on the adjacent site; for the local Muslim community in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
