NK Architects were appointed to prepare development proposals for an extension to an existing semi-detached property located within a Green Belt Area.  Having worked on domestic extensions in Green Belt areas prior, we were familiar with the restrictions surrounding such works.

 

We developed 3 options for extending the property, within the Green Belt criteria; the option that we submitted and was granted planning approval was a two-storey side extension, which created a larger kitchen and a study on the ground floor; on the first floor, we created a master bedroom with an en-suite; extending the total area of the existing property by 40%.
