Torrington Drive, Halewood - Liverpool
Our longstanding client acquired this vacant plot of land from an auction. We were given the task of obtaining planning consent for residential development on the site. From initial conversations with the planning department, we were advised that only a single dwelling would be permitted on the proposal site, however we developed a scheme that that allowed us to create 2 two bedroom apartments, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor; with 2 car parking spaces each, along with associated amenity space and bin store. We convinced the planners that aesthetically the scheme appeared to be a single-family dwelling, and that it fitted comfortably within its context.
Planning for the scheme was granted; however, our client sold the site with planning, so we were not involved with any works, beyond the planning stage.
